SimpleScalar binaries
The SimpleScalar tool set is a system software infrastructure used to build modeling applications for program performance analysis, detailed microarchitectural modeling, and hardware-software co-verification. Using the SimpleScalar tools, users can build modeling applications that simulate real programs running on a range of modern processors and systems.
We use this tool in our school in the “Computer architecture” labs , But the problem is that the most of students prefer working on their own laptops even they dont know how to compile such tool in Linux or Windows.
So after many asks from my colleague i decided to share the binary version of this tools to all the world
You can find in the attechement the tool bianries for the different plateforms and architectures
The packages contain the tools needed to emulate the PISA, ARM, and x86 instruction sets (for the moment the ALPHA instruction sets is not available for the windows version).
I hope that those files will be usefull for you even you are an Esi student or not.
